Bill Drafting Workshop - London - SOLD OUT

Led by Kirsty Allison, Head of ACL Training this is a highly practical seminar where you will gain hands-on experience of working with the New Electronic Bill of Costs.

For use during the session you are required to bring a laptop with a version of Microsoft Excel installed. You will be provided with various documents and activities and given the opportunity to populate a bill. This highly interactive session will then give you the opportunity to start to explore how the functionality of Microsoft Excel may assist during negotiations and on assessment.

You will be given a step by step guide on how to complete the ACL bill of costs, tips and short cuts to improve efficiency on population of the bill and instructions on how to import time from electronic time sheets.

You will learn some of the variables that may present themselves when drafting the bill so you know what to expect and how to manage the process to ensure a satisfactory outcome for you and your client.   You will then have the opportunity to begin to explore how the format of the bill can assist you during negotiations and on assessment. Whether acting for the paying or receiving party, the benefits of excel functionality will be highlighted in order to give you some insight in how this new format bill may assist in achieving a proportionate outcome for the parties.
